Membership is required for all YMCA Child Care Programs. 

Don't let financial constraints be the reason you don't participate.  Scholarships are available.

The Old Town Orono YMCA accepts childcare vouchers i.e. Penquis CAP and Aspire.

                               
Pre-School Day Care
Pre-school Day Care provides a balance between structured activities and free play.  We offer a safe, secure setting that will enable your child to grow, interact, and explore to the best of their ability level.  The Day Care programs offer a variety of stimulating learning experiences that include music, science, activities, swimming, gymnastics, holiday parties and family events.  Contact Child Care Director Anne Ware at Ext. 13 for more information.

School – Age (After School Activity Program/ ASAP)
The After School Activity Program (ASAP) is a unique program that provides youth the opportunity to participate in organized activities, sports, computer time, and receive homework assistance from the moment each child arrives.

Alton After School Adventure Program

The Alton After School Activity Program is modeled after the Y's sucessful and innovative After School Adventure Program that provides school age children the opportunity to participate in organized activities, sports, computer time, and receive homework assistance after school.  The Alton after school program does not require a YMCA membership.   Snowday, In-Service, and vacation will take place at the Old Town Orono YMCA.

Summer Adventure Program (SAP)

This is our school age summer childcare for kids in Kindergarten through 7th Grade.
