The YMCA offers a progressive swimming lesson program starting at 6 months of age. You are never too old to learn to swim!
The Douglas Springer Workout Center is open to all members ages (14+). Equipped with a wide range of Cybex Selectorized Equipment, free weight equipment, and Cardiovascular Machines the YMCA Fitness Center exceeds all your fitness needs. Free equipment & program orientation provided. Members must be 14 years of age to use the Workout Center without parental supervision. Please see any of the Workout Center Staff for more information!
Let the Old Town - Orono YMCA provide your child with a safe and active environment this summer to develop socially, physically and as a person. The Summer Adventure Program (SAP) bases its activities on the four core values of the YMCA - Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, and Caring. Our Camp offers structured and unstructured indoor & outdoor activities. Most indoor activities will be held at our YMCA. Included in your child's camp membership is the use of our facility which includes (but is not limited to) a heated indoor pool, full-size basketball court, field house with indoor walking/running track 5 teaching classrooms, game room, indoor skate park, indoor climbing gym, gymnastics center and foam pit. Outdoor activities include any weekly YMCA bused fieldtrips, local biking and hiking trails, fullsize youth baseball and soccer field, local playgrounds (including the Y's onsite playground) and splash pads.
